AMCA reveals youth championship

At all eight rounds of the main AMCA British Motocross Championship in 2018, there will now also be a title race for Youth competitors in an 85cc/150cc four-stroke class. To be able to go for glory in this exciting new contest, riders must be a minimum age of 9 years old and a maximum of 15 years-old on 1st January, 2018. All riders must also take out an AMCA licence and pay the £99 series registration fee with the entry cost per round being £30.

Depending on initial interest, there may be the need to stage early season qualifiers in 2018 although for the following season the top 15 Championship finishers will automatically book their place on the start grid. As an added incentive for riders committing to this new series, the leading lads in the title standings will also get the chance to represent Team Great Britain in the IMBA European Youth Championship. For the first time on UK soil, the AMCA will be hosting a round of this prestigious series at Lower Drayton on 18th/19th August. So come on all you fast kids, get your entries in now and help play in your part in this exciting inaugural AMCA Youth Championship adventure!
