Bimota unveils enduro 450

Exotica Italian bike brand Bimota has unveiled its first enduro bike called the BX450 enduro model, based on the Kawasaki KX450X.

The Japanese brand owns a 49.9% stake in the business. And Bimota’s other bikes use Kawasaki motors such as the Ninja 1000SX-powered KB4 and Tesi H2 with the supercharged four-cylinder engine from the Ninja H2.

The new BX450 uses the 449cc DOHC liquid-cooled, single cylinder four-stroke motor from the KX450X and also its frame and engine management system, complete with multiple maps and traction control.

The Bimota version has new bodywork with a front headlight and handguards, and a larger fuel tank increased to 10.7-litres from 6.2-litres. And there is a special Arrow exhaust with a carbon cap and Bimota engraving. No price has yet been set.
