Brit one-two in Italy EMX300!

Brits ruled the EMX300 race at Ottobiano in Italy as GL12’s James Dunn took his first race win of the series from Brad Anderson, who extended his series lead to ten points over Dutchman Mike Kras who was third.

The trio ended up at the sharp end of the pack after a couple of laps with Kras leading from Ando and Kras’ team-mate Dunn, who missed the last round in Russia.

Ando made his move on Kras to take the lead, as youngster Dunn started to pressure his team-mate.

Dunn quickly got by Kras, taking away valuable championship points. So he had no option but to chase Ando.

Dunn stalked the fellow KTM rider and eventually squeezed past, then pulled away to a five-second lead as everyone seemed to struggle in the searing heat.

Ando took a safe second while Kras really slowed down and finished third, 50 seconds behind Dunn.Rob Holuoake was ninth and Phil Mercer took 19th. The win moved Dunn up to eighth in the series despite only doing three of the four rounds. The next race is Sunday morning.
