Team GB Youth finished a well-deserved second place in the International Coupe de l’Avenir in France at the weekend. Riding against MX2 GP riders, European championship riders and more in a variety of classes, the team were only beaten on the day by Belgium. And one of their riders was Liam Everts, son of ten-times world champion Stefan. Injuries and other problems like punctures robbed team GB of a real shot at glory, so second is a great result.
