Chamberlain stays as Team GB head

After taking the British Nations team to the podium once again, Mark Chamberlain has been confirmed as the MXoN team boss again for 2020-20201. An ACU press release says:

At the recent ACU Motocross Committee meeting, the Committee had the pleasure of meeting with Mark Chamberlain to discuss the success of Team GB at the MXoN, which resulted in the third podium finish in as many years.

Both parties are pleased with the current working arrangement and the success of the team both on and off the track. Due to the current success the Motocross Committee have offered Mark the chance to continue in the role for both 2020 and 2021, which they are pleased to announce that he has accepted.

Speaking of the extension of the Team GB MXoN managers role, Mark Chamberlain commented “I’d like to thank the ACU for offering me the chance to stay in the role as Team Manager it’s something I’m massively proud of. I feel we have made some decent steps in the support for the Team from sponsors and supporters which is massively important and appreciated. Every rider we have worked with in the last 3 years have
embraced the Team GB spirit and it’s something we can all be proud of let alone 3 podiums! Also I have to say a big thanks to my family and friends who without the support it would have been a tough job!”
