Gajser talks racing and his love of two-strokes

At age just 24, Slovenian Tim Gajser has already won four world championships for Honda – three in the MXGP class. Undefeated in the MXGP championships since 2019, he’s going for his hat-trick in 2021. But he’s a huge supercross fan!

We talk to him about the new AMA Supercross season, his relationship with Ken Roczen and he opens up about his changed plans for a future supercross career.

In this frank and open interview from HRC’s test base in Italy, he talks about the tough times of 2020, the new calendar reshuffle fo the 2021 MXGP season, his greatest race and his rivalry with Jeffrey Herlings. And what surprising gift he splashed out on when he won a world championship!

He also talks about his love of two-stroke CR Hondas! With a 1986 Honda CR500 and plans to have a CR125 and 250 as well to complete the set, he’s a man who loves motocross history.
