Herlings sets Latvia MXGP pace

The sandy terrain of the Kegums circuit in Latvia obviously suits triple world MX2 champ Jeffrey Herlings who set the fastest time in practice for the MXGP class, just two weeks after he took his first podium finish in the Dutch GP.

Herlings was more than half a second quicker than Evgeny Bobryshev with Tony Cairilo third from Arminas Jasikonis and Tim Gajser. Shaun Simpson was 10th, Max Anstie 13th and Ryan Houghton 29th.

In the MX2 class, Brit Conrad Mewse was sixth as Jeremy Seewer set the quickest time. Ben Watson was 28th. Todd Kellett was fifth in the EMX250 practice.MX1latviafree MX2latviafree.
