KTM reveals factory GP set-up

Nine-times world champion Tony Cairoli, double MX2 world champion Jorge Prado and rookie Mattia Guadagnini showed off their new-look KTM 450 SX-F and KTM 250 SX-F as they prepare for the GP opener at Oss in Holland on May 23.

Usually the team shows its race-ready bikes but KTM says officially they have just revealed their bikes ‘clothes’ for the coming GPs. KTM is expected to have a revamped 2022 model range and normally the GP team are the first to show off the new bikes.

Unless the changes are all internal or well hidden, it seems like these bikes are based on the 2021 models machines as ridden in the US supercross series.

The shoot was of the De Carli set-up, based in Italy. The other factory team, of Jeffrey Herlings, Tom Vialle and Rene Hofer based in Holland, will reveal their colours soon.
