Kullas rules at Foxhill

Cab Screens Crescent Yamaha rider Harri Kullas continued his Revo ACU British MX Championship campaign this weekend with round four at Foxhill in Swindon.

Harri took pole position on the wet track, following rain all day Friday. Race one and Harri’s Yamaha YZF450 flew off the gate to a huge holeshot, as he and 2nd place Dylan Walsh were lapping 3 seconds a lap faster than anyone, until Walsh crashed half way through the race to leave Harri to a comfortable and emphatic race win, the first for our team.

Race two and another flying start with Searle and Simpson keeping Harri honest early on. Simpson then closed the gap and made a pass at half distance, as the pair pulled away from the rest of the field. Harri kept pushing Simpson and was never more than a few seconds back and that’s the way it finished, despite a late chanrge by Tommy Searle.

First and Second places gave Harri another overall win, his 2nd in a row, and also moved him to 2nd in the series, only 10 points behind Tommy Searle.

Kullas said: “The day started well with pole position on a really well prepared track. The rain helped massively and I enjoyed the technical conditions.
First race one I got the holeshot and Dylan was pushing me until he crashed and I ended up with a comfortable win.

In the second race another holeshot and I got a lead of 5/6 second lead before Simpson closed me down and made a pass. I stuck with him but couldn’t quite get close enough to pass him back.

Felt good on the bike and happy to take another win on my Yamaha YZF450”
