Lampkin to star at Dirt Bike Show

Dougie Lampkin, a 12-time world trials champion, is set to headline a raft of thrilling live action and entertainment for the whole family at this year’s International Dirt Bike Show in partnership with MOTUL which starts on Thursday! The 2016 Scottish Six Days Trial winner who recently wheelied the entire 37.73-mile Isle of Man TT course, and his crew will be putting on some jaw-dropping motorcycle performances for visitors in one of two live action halls, and he’ll also be taking part in some special two-wheel challenges alongside mountain bike ace Danny Butler.

Action-packed Minibike Supercross racing will also run across the four days of the show, as fearless competitors go head-to-head in several different classes on a purpose-built dirt track. And it’s not just about what there is to watch; there are have-a-go electric trials and on-stage challenges for the adults, while the younger members of the family are catered for and can get involved with a have-a-go Electric Trials area, Quads, remote-controlled motorcycle racing and Strider balance bikes.

Eurosport commentator and off-road expert Jack Burnicle will be conducting interviews with star riders and leading industry figures in Hall 2 as well, so showgoers can take a quick break from the non-stop action to sit and hear about the latest news and developments in the scene.

Along with everything there is to see and enjoy, there is plenty to tempt visitors into buying with the top manufacturers showcasing the latest hardware including 2017 models across the disciplines. Retailers and distributors will also be showcasing clothing, accessories, riding kit and more in two packed trade halls.
