Maxxis and MotoHead back British championship!

Maxxis has renewed its long-running arrangement as title sponsor of the ACU British Motocross Championship. And MotoHead magazine have also been confirmed as media partners to the series, too.

Tyre giant Maxxis, which has backed the UK’s premier series since 2002, has signed a new three-year deal.

“It’s great news,” said championship manager Stuart Drummond, “and I’d like to say a big thank you to Derek McMartin from Maxxis for the company’s continued support.

“These are exciting times for the championship and having a company of the standing of Maxxis behind it can only be positive for the series in particular and the sport in this country in general.”

In addition to the new Maxxis deal, Pro Clean has also come on board again for another season along.

The series’ other new and existing sponsors are KTM, Direct Distribution, DEP, Phoenix Tools, Superflow Lubricants, Surf & Turf, Powertool Buddy, EK Chains, TMX, DBR, Kobold, Hel, REVO, sbs and MotoHead.

The opening round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship takes place on March 12 at Culham Moto Park. Admission is £20 for adults and £5 for children. Family tickets are £45. The circuit postcode is OX14 3DA.
