Maxxis reshuffle after MXGP date swop

Following another reshuffle of MXGP dates, the calendar for the 2019 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship has undergone a small change.

Earlier this week Youthstream moved the date of the MXGP of Patagonia Argentina forward seven days to March 3 to accommodate a local government election. As a result of this the opening round of next year’s Maxxis championship at FatCat has been pushed back a week to March 10.

However this means the opening round will clash with other races such as the opening MX Nationals which is also scheduled for March 10. So it’s likely there will be some more date changes on the cards.

Here’s how the calendar looks now.

Rnd 1 – March 10 – FatCat (MX1, MX2 & MX2 Youth)
Rnd 2 – April 14 – Lyng (MX1, MX2, MX2 Youth & B2S)
Rnd 3 – May 5 – Canada Heights (MX1, MX2 & B2S)
Rnd 4 – June 2 – Blaxhall (MX1, MX2, MX2 Youth & B2S)
Rnd 5 – June 30 – Desertmartin (MX1, MX2 & B2S)
Rnd 6 – July 21 – Hawkstone Park (MX1, MX2, MX2 Youth & B2S)
Rnd 7 – August 11 – Foxhill (MX1, MX2 & MX2 Youth)
Rnd 8 – Sept 15 – Landrake (MX1, MX2, MX2 Youth & B2S)
