Natzke nabs EMX250 win

Fresh from his first podium finish in last week’s British championship, Kiwi Josiah Natzke gave his British Hitachi KTM team its first ever EMX250 overall win as he romped to victory in the European 250 series at Kegums in Latvia.

He took the race win in the opener by more than five seconds from Morgan Lesiardo and Ruben Fernandez. Todd Kellett was 15th, the only Brit to score points.

Second time out, Natzke took second place to Jago Geerts, guaranteeing him his first overall win in the series.

Morgan Lesiardo was third from Jed Beaton as Brit Todd Kellet took ninth.

Italian Lesiardo now leads the series by 22 points from Miro Sihvonen who didn’t race after hurting his shoulder at a race in Germany last week.
