Nicoll and Wheeler top 10 in World Vets

Dormer GP stars Kurt Nicoll and Brian Wheeler took top ten finishes in both motos in the Over-40 pro class at the World Vet championship at Glen Helen in California on Saturday.

Nicoll took fourth overall with third and fourth place rides, and Wheeler seventh with eighth and seventh place rides.

Former AMA Supercross and British champ Mike Brown won both motos with Doug Dubach second both times. Japanese ace Kenjiro Tsuji had fourth and third place rides.

The racing continues today (Sunday) where Nicoll will try to retain his over-50 world crown.

The huge Stars and Stripes flag at Glen Helen was flown at half mast in honour of the man who founded the race Tom White, who died this week after a battle with cancer.
