Luke Norris has decided to step away from racing after a succession of injuries. He’s contested British and European races in the past few years but has decided to call it a day.
He said: “I’ve decided to hang up the boots with racing due to on going problems with my wrist from 18 months ago and other things going on in life. I didn’t want to ride at 75% every weekend and keep struggling so I’ve decided to call it a day. It’s been a seriously hard decision but life moves on and I feel like I’ve achieved a lot along the way.
“I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s contributed towards my racing career, it wouldn’t of been possible without you all and I’ve made some amazing memories and friends along the way. Not forgetting my family who gave up everything for 20 years to allow me to race! Time for the next chapter in life.”
We wish him all the best in whatever he does next.
