Now Spinks goes to Yamaha

Just one day after Martin Barr revealed he’d be Yamaha-mounted for the British MX2 championship next year for the Crescent team, Josh Spinks has revealed he’ll also be on the blue bikes as his M Smith KTM have decided to switch to Yamaha, backed by Leicestershire dealers Redline.

He’ll race a 250 in the MX2 British series and a 450 in the MX Nationals, and also plans to contest some MXGP rounds as a wildcard on the 450. He raced some EMX250 rounds in 2018 but is now too old following the new age ruling.

He’ll be joined by Luke Smith in the MX1 British championship and the MX Nationals, and Icelandic rider Euthor Reynisson.
