Roczen was happy

Ken Roczen took his first pole position for two years by topping qualifying at the opening US National at Hangtown. The session was dry, but rain is set to hit the track for the first motos.

He was tailed by defending champ Eli Tomac from Marvin Musquin and Justin Barcia.

Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Garrett Marchbanks topped the 250 class from Dylan Ferrandis. Derek Drake, in his first race as a pro, was fifth for the TLD KTM team.
