Searle: I’ll be back in two weeks

We caught up with injured MXGP star Tommy Searle about today’s Mexico GP to see what he’s up, what it feels like to have to watch and who he thinks will do the business in Leon! With a GP comeback on the cards soon following knee surgery, is Searle an armchair GP TV watcher or not?

MotoHead: Will you be watching the GP today?

Searle: Yeah I’ll be watching it. I’m not sure if I’ll watch it live or record it and watch it later on.

MotoHead: Does it frustrate you having to watch rather than race?

Searle: Yeah, for sure. It frustrates me so much watching when I want to be there racing with guys. I’ll be there in two weeks though, so not long now. My plan was not to rush back too early and my knee not be strong enough. It’s been frustrating but it’s the right thing to do for sure!

MotoHead: What’s your top three predictions for the MXGP in Mexico?

Searle: Gajser, Cairoli, Desalle.
