Not only did he miss out on the Supercross title but Austin Forkner will miss the entire US outdoor season due to his knee injury (ACL) after his off in Nashville.
He released a statement via his Instagram page, gutted for the kid.

With five overall moto victories in 2019, Austin Forkner season was set to end in Supercross silverware. Unfortunately on Saturday night in Nashville the Kawasaki rider hurt his knee in a nasty crash early on in the evening. He posted that he needs to check it out with the specialists

This weekend the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross heads to Indianapolis where both class leaders, Cooper Webb in the 450s and Austin Forkner (250 class) are looking to extend their respective points lead.

With only a week or so before the Supercross season kicks off at A1, Pro Circuit Kawasaki have yet to make up their mind who is racing on the East or the West coast. Their team consists of Adam Cianciarulo, Martin Davalos, Austin Forkner and Garrett Marchbanks.

Two of Kawasaki's top 250 riders have been injured while testing for Supercross. Frenchman Benoit Paturel, who was due to ride the Paris Supercross for the BUD team, fell while testing in France. His injuries are not thought to be serious but he'll be out of the weekend's Paris Supercross.
Two of the top 250 West Coast Supercross riders will be non-started in the Seattle round this weekend.
Honda's Jeremy Martin had a crash in practice and is out. It's thought he'll be back in a couple of weeks.
Kawasaki man Forkner injured his hip while practicing. His team has not yet set
