Max Anstie took his first MXGP qualifying race win after narrowly defeating former world champ Romain Febvre on French soil in the final MXGP of the year at Villars-Sous-Ecot. Jeffrey Herlings, who collided with Tim Gasjer early on in the moto, came back to third place on the muddy track.
The 2017 MXGP Calendar has reached the furthest parts of the globe and this weekend it is only fitting that the last round of the championship be held in the enthusiastic motocross hub of France. The 19th round of 19 will take place at the beautiful Villars sous Ecot circuit
