Watson lines up WESS assault

The World Enduro Super Series, or WESS for short, launches this year and is exciting new eight-round multi-discipline enduro championship in Europe and Scandinavia and is already attracting some of the world’s best enduro riders, including our own Nathan Watson on his Red Bull KTM.

It combines extreme, classic, cross country and a beach race in mid-November. It will be open to pro and amateur riders on any size machine they prefer and will crown the ultimate all round enduro champion.

The series will include many of the world’s most well established and well supported events, but each will retain their own unique appearance, their own regulations and will remain 100% independent within the new championship series although points scoring will be standardised.

WESS Promotions out of Austria will be coordinating the series, although looking at the events you would have to assume some Red Bull involvement, and it all starts in Portugal  on May 11-13.
