What Yamaha didn’t say about the 2018 MX range

With an all-new Wifi YZF450 with electric start and Smartphone App tuning, Yamaha has gone all out to make 2018 its best ever year. But today’s announcement of the bike left some questions over the rest of the range.

While there has been no detailed information from Yamaha Europe about the other bikes, there has been some info in the USA. US buyers will be able to buy the new 450 and 2018 YZF250 in this different white colour scheme pictured above, with black wheels rather than the blue ones fitted to the Euro-spec models.

But apart from blue wheels and new graphics, it seems the 2018 YZF250 and YZ250 and 125 two-strokes are unchanged. Here’s the pics of the US-spec 250F and the smokers…
