Age limit reduced for big wheel 85s

The upper age limit of the Big Wheel 85cc class will reduced to 14 years on the 1st January 2020 for all ACU permitted Motocross events.
This rule change brings the ACU in line with the FIM and FIM Europe and will see a more natural progression through the class from the 85cc Big Wheel to the 125cc and then Youth Open class.

From the 1 January 2020 the new age limit will in the ACU Handbook will read:
• 85cc Big Wheel – 11 -14 Years on the 1st January
The ages limits for the Small Wheel 85cc class will remain the same, as will the 125cc class where riders can enter at 13 years old and the Youth Open class at the age of 14 years old.
