British sidecar date shuffle

Following recent changes to World and National events the ACU Motocross Committee are pleased to confirm the revised calendar for the ACU British Sidecar Cross Championship for 2021. The changes to the calendar will
see the start of the championship pushed back to the 30th May at Dean Moor.

The new calendar will be as follows:
18 April Foxhill Nora MX CANCELLED DUE TO COVID
30 May Dean Moor NETT
27 June Fatcats NETT
25 July Cusses Gorse Waterlooville MCC
15 August Wakes Colne Halstead & DMCC
12 September TBA

The opening round of the Championship was cancelled due to the Covid restriction not allowing for spectators to attend the event.
The other change to the calendar sees the Wakes Colne event move from the 8th August to a week later on the 15th August. This is due to a date changes of another major championship within the centre, both organising
clubs have worked tirelessly to ensure that both events could still take place on the new dates.

The organiser is still to be announced for the final round of the 12th September and currently the Reserve Date has been dropped due to the Sidecar GP calendar being extended.

The ACU hope that if they have the opportunity to include more rounds this will be dependant on the everchanging Covid situation in Europe and any changes will be done in consultation with the championship riders.
