Hague goes Kawasaki MX1

MX1 rookie Jay Hague will join Phoenix Even Strokes Kawasaki for the 2023 season. After plying his trade in MX2 for the past 4 years with some notable results and performances on Dave Thorpe’s Honda team, the much talked about northern youngster is looking to make a breakthrough statement in MX1 in 2023.

It looks to be a great fit for both parties with the team offering a positive relaxed but professional atmosphere and Jay being a hardworking rider who will benefit from the close family knit environment.

Early season testing will begin in November with the team working with Jay on bike setup.

Barry Moore -I’m very excited to be bringing Jay onto the team , Jay is someone that has raw talent and is very quick on a bike , he has shown over the past few years he has the speed to run at the sharp end of races and with a off season to prepare on the fantastic KX450 I’m confident Jay is going to be a force in the MX1 class next year

Jay Hague – The past few years have been great, however it’s time for a change and I couldn’t think of a better place to ply my trade than at Phoenix Even Strokes Kawasaki. Everyone knows in the British paddock how professional Barry’s team is, from presentation to bike setup it’s one of the best. I’m looking forward to getting on the Kawasaki as quick as possible and working with Ian Bailey at Moto33 to get the bike setup. It’s fantastic that both Barry and Ross see my potential in MX1 and I look forward to working on delivering the results the team and myself deserve.
