Hague’s surgery on broken femur

British championship rider Jay Hague has had successful surgery to pin his femur at a hospital in Dundee. He broke the leg when he crashed while racing in Scotland at he weekend.

“I had a nasty crash and the bike just hit me,” he told MotoHead. “I’ve had surgery this morning.”

Hague has had a difficult start to the season, now riding for the Phoenix Tools Kawasaki team after leaving Crendon Honda after a season marred with illness and injuries. His best British championship result this year was 11th in the opening moto at Oakhangher.
