Anstie eyes USA switch

Max Anstie could return to the USA to contest the AMA Supercross and outdoor Nationals after testing a HEP Suzuki. It’s believed he is considering riding a 250F in Supercross and 450 outdoors.

It’s though Anstie was close to clinching a deal to race in the British championship and MXGPs with Steve Dixon’s DRT Kawasaki team, although this looks like it might have fallen through.

If Anstie signs for HEP, his team mate is likely to be former Pro Circuit racer Martin Davalos who has tested the HEP 450 for indoors and out. The team’s 2019 racer Alex Ray is believed to be out of HEP while Kyle Chisholm and Adam Enticknap may still be with the team.

The team has been a Supercross-only squad but it seems they are aiming to go bigger in 2020 by tackling the US Nationals too.

Anstie used to race and live in the USA, and has contested supercross and Nationals before coming back to Europe to contest GPs. He recently got married but is believed to be in the USA after his honeymoon.
