Ken Block killed in snowmobile accident

One of the world’s best-known action sports stars Ken Block has lost his life while snowmobiling in Utah. Block was riding up a steep hill in Mill Hollow, Wasatch County, when the vehicle flipped and landed on him, the local sheriff’s office stated. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 55-year-old is famous for racing and stunt driving on four wheels but has always been a big supporter of many dirt bike stars like Travis Pastrana, Robbie Maddison, Ricky Carmichael and Jeff Emig.

Block started the DC Shoes company, which allowed him to sponsor many top riders like Pastrana. Block also rode off-road bikes and co-ordinated many stunts with riders like Carmichael.

He is survived by a wife Lucy and three children. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
