British championship hopeful Bobby Bruce will miss this weekend’s penultimate Revo MX2 British championship round after hurting his wrist in a training spill in Belgium. The 19-year-old took his first ever moto win in the series at the last round at Hawkstone and is currently second in the series behind fellow GasGas rider Isak Gifting.

Bruce said: “Sometimes it feels like you can’t put a foot wrong then other times you can’t buy yourself any luck in this sport. Devastated to be posting, had a pretty naughty crash last week in Belgium and injured my wrist training for the GP. Unfortunately won’t be lining up this weekend at the British. Will know more soon! Sorry to my team and sponsors especially after the promising last few weeks. I’ll be back.”
