Brum’s poised for action!

The soil is in, the woops and jumps are ready, and the riders are arriving as the final preparations for the third round of the Power Maxed Arenacross Tour draw to a close at The Genting Arena, Birmingham.

The fast and furious nature of Arenacross invariably means that riders can sometimes be side-lined and replacement riders, particularly in the Pro class can sometimes be a regular feature. This, of course, shakes everything up and keeps the classes fresh, as well as increasingly entertaining!

A couple of team changes will bring a new and colourful mix this weekend to the fastest growing indoor race series in Europe. Joining the world-class 2018 Pro regulars will be reigning European Supercross SX2 champ Gradie Featherstone (GB) who will partner Hugo Basaula (Portugal) in the Shocktech Kawasaki team, whilst super-smooth and uber-fast MXGP top runner Nico Aubin will pair up with Evgeny Bobryshev in the RFX Suzuki team.

A full complement of Pro runners will take to the Genting Arena with MVR-D St Blazey Husqvarna’s Nicque Thury fresh from podium success at last week’s Dortmund Supercross, and I-Fly JK Yamaha’s Julien Lebeau returning to the AX fold.

In a first for the 2018 Power Maxed Arenacross Tour, doors to the Genting Arena open at 4.30pm tomorrow, Saturday the 20th of January, with all bars and restaurants open to add to the party atmosphere. The evening’s show gets going at 7.30pm.

Tickets are available via www.theticketfactory.com, from the Box Office on 0844 338 0338 or on the door.
