Cab Screens go Honda

Cab Screens Racing are abandoning Husqvarna and switching to Honda for 2018 as an officially-backed Honda UK team, revealing the riders and bike at the Dirt Bike Show today. Dan Thornhill and James Harrison will race in MX1 alongside Josh Peters in MXY2. The team will have backing from Winchester Off-Road.

Team Manager Lee Webber said: “This is huge step forward for us and it was an easy decision to make. We have two riders in the MX1 British Championship top ten and have scored GP points, so it was great that Honda saw the value in what we are trying to achieve and how we operate. We are stepping onto a bike that won both the Maxxis British championship and Michelin MX Nationals so it was a no-brainier for me. The lads love the CRF450R already and we can continue the good work we have done with Mike Carter at WOR moving forward. I can’t wait for the season to start.”
