So close for Wilson at Aussie SX

Briton Dean Wilson took a win and a second in the two nights of the Australian Aus-X Supercross in Sydney, but was robbed of the overall win by fellow factory Husky rider Jason Anderson. Anserson was second to Wilson on the opening night after the American fell early on. But Anderson took the win on night two to be awarded the overall win.

In the decisive final, Aussie Dean Ferris took the holeshot but Anderson quickly took the lead and pulled away. Scotsman Wilson crashed and ended 11th as Wilson cut through to second but couldn’t reel in Anderson.

American Justin Brayton was third for third overall. Top Aussie was Dan Reardon fourth.
