Dates set for 2019 Internationals

The Lacapelle pre season International Motocross has just confirmed the date for February 24 just two weeks prior the opening round of the World Championship. That’s one week after the Hawkstone Park International, which recently changed its date to work with the revised MXGP calendar.

“The idea is always to be as close as possible of the first Grand Prix, as we expect top teams and riders to be behind our gate on February. Next year the first GP is schedule on March 10th, so we postponed our date to February 24th. It’s impossible to go further, as the teams and riders need some time after their last pre season race to prepare the first GP” explained Vincent Ayroles, member of the board of the Lacapelle club.

Lacapelle will be one of the main European pre season events, and the club expect to attract many GP riders. “We always had a good feedback from teams and riders who came here to race, and today most of the managers have a good opinion about our event so we expect to welcome even more top riders than in the past,” he continued. In February Jeffrey Herlings add his name to the winners list, a few months before he clinched his first MXGP World title.
