End for JGR Suzuki team

The top U.S. Suzuki team JGR is to fold. Although there has been no official announcement yet, the team members and mechanics have been told they will no longer be required for 2021.

“JGR and Suzuki have split,” a team insider told MotoHead. “I’m now without a job.”

This year the team ran Alex Martin, Joey Savatgy and Freddie Noren in the AMA Supercross and outdoor series. In the past they have had riders like Justin Barcia and Weston Peick. It leaves Max Anstie’s HEP team flying the Suzuki flag in the USA next season, it seems.

There is still a chance JGR will continue with another manufacturer.
