Fatcats to hold Team GB Junior try-out day

The all-weather track at Fatcats is to host the first ever try-out day for the Team GB’s World Junior squad on April 11.

Team chief Dave Willet said: “I’m happy to announce that we’ve confirmed the date and venue for our first ever Junior World’s day. We know the weather in the UK can be unpredictable, so we wanted to ensure the best possible ride conditions for our riders. So with that in mind we feel Fatcat Moto Parc, an all-weather terrain track is the perfect venue.

“Track owner Martin Craven has been absolutely brilliant to let us his facility. All riders interested in attending the process day should mark their calendars for Tuesday, April 11. More information will be due soon regarding the time schedule and the trainers involved.

“Please note this day is a chance for us all to meet-up in preparation for the event and to kickstart something which has been needed for the youth riders. Please note while we’ll be watching all riders on the day in consideration for the Junior worlds, we are aware not everyone will be able to attend and this will not reflect on our final decision. We will still be watching at races.”
