Anstie wins French GP qualifying race

Max Anstie took his first MXGP qualifying race win after narrowly defeating former world champ Romain Febvre on French soil in the final MXGP of the year at Villars-Sous-Ecot. Jeffrey Herlings, who collided with Tim Gasjer early on in the moto, came back to third place on the muddy track.

Husky man Anstie said it was the best race performance he’s ever put in.

In the MX2 qualifier, Hunter Lawrence took the win from Pauls Jonass who is looking to clinch his first world title.
