British championship venues revealed

The 2018 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship venues have been revealed and every circuit is either on sand – like Lyng and Hawkstone Park – or similarly soft ground like Culham and Duns. Sand tracks often fare better under harsh weather but the tracks won’t suit all riders, like hard pack specialist Kristian Whatley.

The Championship will start on the 11th March at Lyng in Norfolk before heading the familiar circuits of Canada Heights, Blaxhall, Desertmartin and Hawkstone Park. After returning to the championship in 2017 the Oxford-based circuit, Culham will host round 2 on Easter Sunday and 2018 will also see the return of the fantastic Duns circuit in Scotland on the 29th July.

Full calendar:
11 March Lyng
1 April Culham
22 April Canada Heights
6 May Blaxhall
24 June Desertmartin
29 July Duns
26 August Hawkstone Park
23 September TBC
