Fastest 40 returns to Landrake and Preston Docks

Having already announced the venues for the first two rounds as Hawkstone and Foxhill, the Motul Fastest 40 championship powered by Michelin has added Preston Docks and Landrake to the 2024 schedule.

The series heads to Preston Docks for round three on May 11-12. The series will be the first National championship to visit the venue in 2024 and having recently been acquired by Lee McGarry. This will be a welcome return to the North-West Venue on the banks of the River Ribble.

On June 1-2, the series makes a welcome return to Landrake having not held a round there since 2022.

“We are delighted to be returning to both venues in 2024 and both add something different to the mix.  We can’t wait to visit Preston Docks and see what developments Lee has made to the venue. Returning to Landrake is always great, with its old school style track and natural terrain set in the Cornish countryside, it makes for an ideal venue.” Commented Paul Irwin – Fastest 40 Race Director.

Several classes are already full, and a handful of spaces are left in the Apico Festival 125 class, Honda Cup and Pro Amateur classes. Any teams or riders still wishing to secure a place are asked to contact Kevin asap – Kevin@fastest40.co.uk

The new format will see both Pro MX1 and MX2 classes alongside the Apico 2-Stroke 125 class in action on Saturday with practice, qualifying and two races. On the Sunday, the Clubman, Pro AM (MX1 and MX2) and the all-new Honda Cup class will take to the track.
