Suzuki recently announced that it was releasing factory MX2 rider Brian Hsu from his GP contract so he could pursue his dream of racing Suzukis in American Supercross. Well, the 18-year-old failed to clinch a US deal and has now signed to race a 250 Husqvarna in MX2 GPs for two years for the German Maurer team.

The former world and European 125 champ said: “I’m happy and excited to join the Husqvarna Maurer team. It’s a fresh start for me and I think it is a great opportunity. I’m very excited to work with the new crew. I am grateful and I will do my very best to make the most of it.”

Hsu, who is half German and half Taiwanese, has already been out testing the Husky. He is also a violin player and maker! Check out this incredible video of him playing his violin and riding his equally well tuned Suzuki recently.
