Mewse out as Husky stays with Martens

While many 250 MX GP teams are being axed, Husqvarna has confirmed it will continue with Jacky Martens’ JM Racing team as the  official MX2 representatives in the Motocross World Championship for two more years but Brit Conrad Mewse is out of the team. Thomas Kjer-Olsen and Thomas Covington, who finished third and fourth respectively in the 2017 MX2 World Championship, remain.  It’s believed Mewse will stay in the world championship on a KTM in a deal that will be announced soon.

Martens told MotoHead yesterday: “I had to make a decision about riders in the middle of the season and Conrad was not having a great time then. He came on stronger towards the end of the year.”

Watch out for a full video interview soon.
