Spinks to race Apico 2-Stroke Festival

Fresh from second place overall in the EMX250 class at the British GP at Matterley, Josh Spinks is to swop his KTM four-stroke for a two-stroker to race in the weekend’s opening Apico 2-Stroke Festival round at Ironworks near Middlesborough.

He’ll be in the Fastest class, and will be joined by Matt Moffat who used to race the British two-stroke championship until a nasty injury last year.

The Apico 2-Stroke Festival is a two-day event over three rounds, starting at Ironworks on July 7-8 then goes on to Sellindge in Kent on August 4-5. A final round will be announced soon, following the cancellation of the Marshfield round due to track issues.

There are still places in all classes for the events, which is ideal for youths on 85s to modern bikes and old bikes such as Evo and twin-shock.
