Sterry snares KTM MXGP ride

Sterry signs his MXGP deal

Former British champion Adam Sterry has clinched a deal to return to KTM and contest the MXGP world championship in 2020.

Sterry, who had to leave his F&H Kawasaki team as he is now too old to contest MX2 GPs, will join JD Gunnex KTM in the world championships and the ADAC series in Germany. The team are based in the Czech Republic and last year fielded Spaniard Jose Butron.

Sterry won the British championship on KTM before switching to Kawasaki in the MX2 world championship.
