Kristian Whatley is being linked with a move back to Yamaha in the British championship next year, back on a brand which he used to win the title.

Although there is no official confirmation, it’s believed Whatley is in talks to ride a Yamaha for Rob Hooper in the UK series.

Hooper currently runs Jake Shipton on a Yamaha backed by giant bike dealers Crescent. It’s thought Shipton will stay on a Yamaha for Crescent as they look to increase their involvement in motocross.
