One of the greatest ever motocross and supercross stars Rick Johnson is to make his first ever appearance at the world’s greatest Vets festival, the VMXdN at Farleigh Castle on September 8-9.

A replica of one of his factory Hondas is being prepared for the Californian, who just a few weeks later will be team manager of Puerto Rico at the real MX of Nations in the USA.

At the Vets Nations, Team USA will include MX of Nations winner Ivan Tedesco and ex AMA Supercross champ Mike Brown as well as former AMA pro riders John Dowd and Doug Dubach.

The home team, who won last year, is Mark Eastwood, Kurt Nicoll and Phil Mercer who will be joined by Stephen Sword after John May got hurt this week.
