Former world junior champ Eddie Jay Wade is swapping the British-based Hitachi KTM for the VRT KTM squad for 2021. He will contest the EMX250 championship and French Elite series. He is replacing Tom Guyon on the team.

Eddie had a tough 2020 season for the Hitachi KTM squad in the EMX 125 series as he was dogged by injuries. His only points-scoring ride was seventh overall in the opening EMX125 round at Matterley Basin.
