Revo Husqvarna UK has signed Jordan Divall to take over the ride left vacant by Jamie Carpenter’s season-ending knee injury. He joins Mel Pocock on the team. The 23-year-old privateer from Brighton has started the season strongly and after three rounds sits 10th in the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship with his best race result a third-placed finish in the final MX2 moto at Lyng last month.
Jordan Divall said: “I’m really happy. I’m good friends with Mel so we have a strong relationship and the team structure’s very good so with REVO Husqvarna UK behind me I’m confident I can move forward.
“I’m a full privateer so to get the chance to go under the awning of such a good team is a great opportunity for me.”
Mark Yates (Team Principal) said: “We are pleased to announce that we have secured Jordan Divall to step in for Jamie Carpenter for the remainder of the season.
“We had to wait until we had the final results of Jamie’s injury before we could even contemplate a replacement and, as everyone is now aware, Jamie’s injuries have resulted in him requiring surgery followed by around five months rehab. We wish him a speedy recovery.
“Jordan has performed well and shown great speed in the opening rounds of the Maxxis series as an independent privateer and we hope with the support of REVO Husqvarna UK to further assist him in meeting his goals.
“Jordan has been doing a lot of training both here in the UK and overseas with Mel Pocock and we feel by bringing him into the team and providing some structure we can help him further excel throughout the remainder of the season. I’m sure he will be a great asset for us and a solid team-mate to Mel Pocock.
“He will compete in the remaining Maxxis rounds, the Michelin MX Nationals and hopefully a couple of the FIM European EMX250 rounds.”
