Herlings sets Russian GP pace

Jeffrey Herlings has set the fastest time in free practice for the Russian GP at Orlyonok, from Arnaud Tonus with Briton Max Anstie third. Julian Lieber was fastest in MX2 from Benoit Paturel and Jeremy Seewer. Ben Wastonw as 17th, one place in front of Conrad Mewse.

In timed practice for the EMX300 class, Mike Kras was quickest from Christopher Valente, Kenny Vandeuren and Brad Anderson.

There are only 15 riders in the EMX300 class and the slowest is a local, Iurii Lukash on a Honda whose fastest lap is 45 seconds slower than Kras.
