Soubeyras takes Montpellier SX win

Cedric Soubeyras took another double win at the Montpellier Supercross to take a five-point lead in the French Supercross championship. There is one round remaining, the double-header in Geneva next weekend.

Soubeyras beat Thomas Ramette on both nights and took away Ramette’s red plate. Valentin Teillet took third.

Honda’s Fabien Izoird only made it through to the first night’s final after coming through the last chance repecharge. He crashed in his heat on Saturday and didn’t ride again.

Brian Hsu won the final on Saturday night and Brit Joe Clayton, who won his last chance qualifier, narrowly missed a top 10 place in the final.
