UK boost for Suomy and Kyt helmets

SUOMY and KYT helmets are to be brought into the UK by Malcolm Rathmell Sport. KYT have had a long association within motorcycle industry starting production in 1980 and they are now one of the biggest helmet production manufacturing companies in the world. They are sponsors of ex-British MX Champion Shaun Simpson and also ex-World MX Champion Romain Febvre.

In 2014 they started their collaboration with the very well-established SUOMY brand and look on this as the ideal time to move SUOMY forward in both the road and off-road industries. SUOMY currently sponsor leader of the Moto GP Championship, Andrea Dovizioso and have had a long relationship with several top riders within the sport. In motocross this year they also sponsor Kevin Strijbos, Arnaud Tonus, Arminas Jasikonis, Thomas Covington, Conrad Mewes and various others.

Malcolm Rathmell – “As a company we see this new relationship as a great opportunity to move forward in the off-road market. After our meeting and discussions with SUOMY – KYT we feel they are a very dynamic, forward-thinking company who want to push hard in our market.

“They are a very loyal, trustworthy company and we feel we will have a great future with them and can’t wait to get started. We have the first shipment on its way and they will have a great display at the International Intermot Show as well as in the UK at the Dirt Bike Show where we look forward to discussing everything with our very loyal dealers and customers. To the future!”

Alain Irawan – President – KYT – SUOMY – “We are really pleased to have made an agreement with Malcolm Rathmell Sport for the UK market.
